“Flowers seem intended for the solace of ordinary humanity.” ~ John Ruskin
If this is the case then my flowers certainly live up to their destiny, for they bring me joy on so many levels. From the first green sprouts forcing their way through the soil in the spring, to the skeleton of blooms that hang on through the coldest of winter, my flower garden brings a smile to my face each day.

Beautiful photos and stories. Thank you so much for sharing them with the challenge.
Flowers bring so much joy! Their beauty is wonderful I can’t put it to words.
Agreed! I look around the neighbourhood and see yards where they have no flowers, and it looks so drab. Flowers in your yard makes everything just more inviting. Plus their many colours and textures simply intrigue me.
Beautiful flower images.
Thank you so very much.
